Kron Manufacturer’s Warranty

When purchasing a new Kron bicycle from an authorized Kron dealer, Kron grants a manufacturer’s warranty subject to the following terms and conditions.

Conditions

The manufacturer’s warranty is granted exclusively to the original owner of the Kron bicycle, purchased from an authorized Kron dealer. To activate the warranty, the bicycle must be registered by the original owner at www.kronbicycle.com/register within 15 days of purchase.

Warranty Duration

  • Bicycle Frames and Rear Ends: Kron provides a warranty period of 5 years from the date of purchase.
  • Maintenance Requirement: The warranty is reduced to 3 years if the bicycle is not serviced annually by an authorized Kron dealer, in accordance with the Kron maintenance manual. Maintenance records must be stamped and signed by the authorized dealer in the manual.
  • High-Performance and Rigid Fork Models: For rigid forks and frames in the performance category, the warranty is limited to 2 years.

If a defect is repaired or a part replaced under this warranty, the original warranty period is not extended. The warranty is void if ownership of the bicycle is transferred to another person.

Claim Process

To assert a warranty claim, the customer must notify their authorized Kron dealer in writing as soon as any defect is discovered. The bicycle must be brought to an authorized Kron dealer along with:

  • The original proof of purchase.
  • Maintenance records as outlined in the Kron manual.

The dealer will contact Kron Bicycle LLC to process the claim.

What Kron Will Do

In the event of a valid warranty claim, Kron may, at its discretion:

  • Repair the defective part.
  • Replace the defective product with one of equivalent quality, though color and model variations may occur.
  • If repair or replacement is not possible, Kron may issue a partial refund based on the bicycle's prior use.

Kron reserves the right to engage third parties for defect repairs.

Limitations

The warranty applies only to:

  • Frames, swingarms, and rigid forks of Kron bicycles.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear (e.g., tires, brake pads, chains).
  • Damage from accidents, misuse, or excessive force.
